Our Puppy Group Course is for mid to large-breed puppies and will help you teach basic life skills built on trust and clear communication.
Early socialization is crucial, as well as starting early age-appropriate obedience. We use placeboards to keep the dogs' focus high and introduce all general commands such as sit, down, stay, leash walking, and more. Throughout the training sessions, we will reward the puppies with a well-deserved mental break by allowing them to socialize in a secure and spacious area. We provide advice for caring for your new family member like house-breaking, crate training, nutritional and physical needs, and giving tips to prevent separation-related problems.
This course is taught with positive reinforcement techniques as we like to take advantage of the puppy's love of food at this age.
What you get:
Course length: 6 Weeks / 45 min per session
Course Location: Lawrencetown Community Centre
Course Cost: $195 + tax
Class Size: 3-6 puppies at ages 3 to 7 months.
>>This course is not suited for toy breeds or fits dogs with aggression or reactivity.
What you need to bring:
- collar and leash (No flexi/retractable leashes)
- kibble or high-value treats

(*if the minimum amount of participants is not met we will refund the deposit.)
All puppies must have their first set of Distemper/Parvo and Kennel cough/Bordetella vaccination at least 3 days before participating and send proof of deworming.

Class Dates: Jan 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, Feb 6th
*if a class will be canceled due to weather, subsequent dates will be added following course completion.
